Host Centres: East, West, South and South-West

Educational and Cultural Activities

We offer full board stays, from two nights, with host families in host centres in Galway, Dublin, Cork and Kerry areas. Groups can stay in one region for duration of stay, or experience the diversity of Ireland by staying in two different regions. Local organiser in centre of stay is present daily at meeting point, and available 24 hours for support. We are available 24 hours for assistance during all stays in all host centres. We offer Irish Dancing and Irish Music Workshops, Live Irish Music, Song & Dance Evenings, Gaelic Football and more – educational, fun and interactive experiences, for discovery of our Irish culture. We ensure best student experiences possible by our instructor/student ratios. Activities are delivered in venues local to host centres, by experienced instructors; with each activity customised to group needs.

Technical Visits

Visits to Sites and Museums

For high school student groups with specific interests in farming, agriculture, horticulture, aquaculture and equestrian education, we offer a range of visits offering technical education. Students meet with professionals and receive a content rich presentation and tour, learning about work techniques and practices in specialist areas. Tours can be tailored to topics of special interest. Ireland has many sites of educational and cultural interest. We maintain familiarity by onsite visits, to enable us provide up-to-date information and advice on visitor experiences. We can make reservations and payments in advance for visits planned for programmes. Our manual provides details on sites, guiding options, and the excellent rates we enjoy facilitating the budgets of your clients.

Treasure Hunts

Visits to Schools & Universities

We offer treasure hunts – fun and educational activities, formulated by us, for discovery of specific cities, historical buildings, famous landmarks and local knowledge. Students can test their language skills with the locals, when seeking help with the tasks and challenges. For students pursuing a specific vocational task, or with specific interest in our Irish educational system, we offer visits to a selection of Montessori Schools, Afterschool’s, Second Level Schools and Universities. Students receive a presentation or guided tour in each establishment.

English Classes

Transport

We offer morning English classes, by native, TEFL qualified, experienced teachers; class levels distinguished according to the Common European Framework for Languages (CEF Level). Oral expression is the priority, with lesson content, learning objectives and outcomes prepared to CEF Level of each class. Teachers use pro-active teaching methods that encourage student interaction; exercises are fun, with subjects facilitating discovery of Ireland. Each student receives a certificate on completion, detailing course taken and proficiency level studied. We can organise transport by coach, for airport transfers and daily excursions during stay. We work with coach companies acclaimed for their professional drivers, safety standards and customer care with international student groups. They are checked by us for standard of their multi-sized coaches, andmcompliance with statutory requirements and driver’s hours’ regulations. Coaches have seatbelts at every seat, P.A. system and are air-conditioned; additional features vary. Should you require a particular specification, we can organise this for you.

Free Educational Activities

Educational Guided Tours

We offer free educational activities, for discovery, through fun, of our country, language and culture. These include ‘discovery trails’ of specific cities/towns, and their landmarks of historical interest. For groups availing of English classes, option for students to prepare a fun activity in class, to be included in trail, and provide feedback in class the next day. We offer a range of educational guided tours – walking or panoramic city tours, full day guided excursions or guiding for days dominant with technical visits. Our bilingual guides are vastly experienced in creating and delivering fun and engaging tours; with each tour adapted to individual group needs. Tours can accommodate specific themes – Irish literature, architecture, history, culture.

Additional Meals

Hostel Accommodation

For return journeys, families can provide optional second packed lunch. Alternatively, we can reserve hot meals in chain restaurants on the route to airports and ports. These meals are suitable for groups on days of arrival and departure; including groups departing with early morning flights. We also offer light afternoon meals for groups on select day trips during stay. For groups requiring hostel accommodation, we work with a number of hostels, selected for their convenient location for programmes, standards of comfort, facilities and suitability for young student groups. In city centre locations, all meals can be catered for, with students accommodated in multiple, single gender, ensuite dormitories, exclusive to group members only.
